Padmakara is Cedartower's debut album and is a sonic reflection on certain episodes in the life of the legendary Padmasambhava also known as Padmakara or Guru Rinpoche. The album concentrates on the timbral nature of sound and how various sounds marry together to invoke another time of magical belief.

Padmakara was an eighteenth century Buddhist master who was invited to Tibet by king Trisong Detsen to help found Tibetan Buddhism. Many tales and legends have been told about him some of which are reflected on for this album which is available from Bandcamp.
